		Park Attractions The Tivives Protected Zone protects forested and coastal mangrove areas on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, south of Puntarenas.. It is located between the mouth of the Rio Jesus Maria (Las Flores Estuary) to the south, and the Caldera Bay to the north.
