This station is the principal base for an experiment
forestry restoration program. This long term project seeks to
re-populate
land that was once used for agriculture with native species of the dry
tropical
forest of Costa Rica.
Driving
Directions
From San Jose, take the Interamerican highway to Liberia. From there,
take
the road leading west to Guardia, then turn right and drive past

There are no public facilities in the Horizontes Experimental Forest
Station Costa Rica.
