Park Attractions

The intention of this zone is to give protection in order for the forest to recuperate from past degeneration. It crosses the entire spectrum of life zones, from Pacific Coastal to rainforest and mountains, and again to the coastal zone of the Caribbean.

There are no public facilities in this area. Other Costa Rica Parks near the northern borderlands include Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, Guanacaste National Park, La Selva Protected Zone, and Barra del Colorado Wildlife Refuge.
