The Cariari National Wetlands protects mangroves
and marine areas on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. It extends along
the coast from the southern border of
Tortuguero National Park (at
the mouth of the Parismina River), to the Madre de Dios Estuary and
Pacuare Matina Forest Reserve
(at the mouth of the Pacuare River).
There are no public park facilities at this national wildlife refuge.
