		Park Attractions The Caraigres Protected Zone protects the slopes of Cerro Caraigres in the northern Talamanca Mountains of the Central Valley of Costa Rica. It is of great interest to botanists, as its limestone based soils support a diversity of plant life not found in other soil bases in Costa Rica. Park Facilities and Hours There are no public park facilities at this national wildlife refuge. Other nearby Costa Rica Parks include Cerros de Escazu and Cerros Carpintera Protected Zone.
